I know what you are thinking Carmelites dont wear wedding dresses any more right? NO! not The Carmelites of Cristo Rey they still carry on that tradition!!!
I think it is so wonderful they still do that dont you think? I mean all you ever see anymore are like the Poor Clares Or some other Order but YES! the Carmel of Cristo Rey still do it!

That is so cool! So when you enter, will you wear one as well? Congrats again! :) Please pray for me, Brandee, for I am also discerning whether Carmel is for me. I wonder if other Carmelite monastaries follow that tradition still?
Like you know Samantha some Carmels are like out woth the Old in with the New but since you are joing the Carmelite Nuns in NE (God willing)and they are part of the Carmelites in Cristo Rey so I think they may still do the wedding dress thing. No Ro-Ro I dont have a date yet but I am going on a visit forever haha Oh yes I am praying for you so much Ro-Ro and take a very hard look at Carmel becasue what order could be better? I mean you would be saving alot of souls! Yes Ro-Ro I will be wearing a wedding dress! (YAY!) But onlyRo-Ro there are very little Carmleites that still do the wedding dress thing.
